Famous Things About Udit Narayan


Udit Narayan is one most popular singer and play back singer in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Nepal cinema. Udit Naryan was born on 1st Dec 1960 Nepal. His father was Hare Krishna and his mother was Bhuwaneshwari Devi .Udit Narayan has sung more than 15000 song s in many different languages. He started his career with a Nepal radio. He went to Mumbai to pursue music scholarship. He got trained in Indian classical music for six years Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

In 1980 music director Rajesh Roshan offered to sing in the movie Unees Bees. Actually success story of the carrier in 1988 with the success movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. All songs suphit in this movie. But he sang a very famous song “Papa Kehte Hain" which went on to become that year's super hit. This film was also launch to bring actor Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla   & playback singer Alka yagnik. In 1995 his career had a great turning point he sang the song "Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna" from the movie Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jaaenge. This movie song superhit in all of india and he won the filmfare award for the best Male Playback singer this year.

Next year 1996 he got nominated his third filmfare award for the song "Pardesi Pardesi" from the movie Raja Hindustani. He has worked with many superstar musician like as Rahul Dev Burman, Jagjit sing, Bappi Lahri, A.R. Rehman, Rajesh Roshan, Vishal shekhar  etc. some of his superhit movies are  Darr, Kuch kuch hota hai, Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jaaenge, Swadesh, Veer Zaara, Aashiqui etc. 

Udit Narayan married in 1985 and has one son. His son Aditya Narayan is a perfomer child actor, singer and television presenter. He was hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa challenge 2007. Udit Naryan has proved himself after much struggle in life. He does not stop him from belting out hits and give his best to music.
