Best Indian Melody Music Singer: LATA MANGESHKAR

Lata Mangeshkar was born in Indore on 8 September 1929, she is the most popular occasional music-composer and play singer in boll wood’s  history. She was born the daughter of Dinanath Mangeshkar. He was the supposed classical singer  in his own right. He started giving Lata Mangeshkar singing lesson from the 5 years old. After some year her father died in 1942. Many responsibility of her family upon her. Lata Mangeshkar ‘s career started in 1942. She has recorded song for over a thousand in  Hindi films. Mangeshkar’s name was presented in the Guinness book of world record in 1947. She had recorded around  25,000 songs  in 20 languages. In 1950 Mangeshkar worked with all the famous composer like as Shankar jaikishan , S D Burman, Naushad Hemant etc.

Lata Mangeshkar  sang many song  movie  Baiju Bawra in 1952 and  Mugal-E-Azam  1960. Lata Mangeshkar won a Best Female play back Award  in 1958. 1960 Mangeshkar’s  song  “pyar kiya toh drna kya “ from movie Mugal-E-Azam  in famous all over India. In this period made her the queen of Boolywood playback singer. Her songs got an great response from people all over the country. In 1961, Mangeshkar recorded two popular bhajans  "Allah Tero Naam" and "Prabhu Tero Naam" popular in all over country. 27 June 1963 Mangeshkar sang the nationalistic song “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo” in the presence of Prime Minister of India  Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. 

In 1972 pakeezah was released. In this film  all songs were hit but "Chalte Chalte" and "Inhi Logon Ne" most popular song in  this film. 1980 Mangeshkar  worked with music director like as Ram Laxman, A.R. Rehman etc. 1990 she won Best Female Playback singer for her performance  of the song  "Yaara Sili Sili" from the film Rudaali. A. R. Rahman recorded a few songs with Mangeshkar during this period, the most popular sogs include "Jiya Jale".In 1999.  Lata mangeshkar  has sung all most Yash Copra’s film like as-  Darr-  1993, Yeh Dillagi- 1994, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge- 1995, Dil To Pagal Hai- 1997, Mohabbatein- 2000, Mujhse Dosti Karoge- 2002, Veer Zaaa-2004. In 2005  Lata Mangeshkar  records song for " Kitne Ajeeb Rishte Hain Yahan Par "  for movie Page 3.

Lata Mangeshkar has won several awards and honors like as Padma Bhushan in 1969, Bharat Ratna in 2001. She has also won Filmfare Best Female  Playback Awards.
